·         Abrasive sand papers – These are papers which are used to smoothen the wooden surface or furniture. These are available in different grits ranging from 36 grit to 36000 grit. The grit is selected depending upon the application and end use, like raw sanding=100 to 220 grit. Sealer sanding- 150-360 grit. Fine sanding= 250-600 grit.Extra fine and smooth finish 600-1000 grit.

Hence profiled wheels are available in different and desired profiles as per our requirement from the manufacturers. Either profiled rubber wheels are used, or thin plastic wheels are used for backing of the abrasive paper.
