Decorative or coated paper

Decorative printed papers are used to upgrade MDF or plywood to be used in a variety of applications. Learn about the characteristics and manufacturing process of these papers in this article.

Plain MDF, plywood or particle boards have limited applications as their surface is not decorative. Hence decorative printed papers are used to upgrade this material to high-end exotic products.
Paper is printed with different designs and is lacquered with PU (Polyurethane) with longer life and water resistance to the decorative surface. These papers are applied on plain MDF, plywood or chip boards with the help of hot-press, roller press or continuous press with suitable adhesives
