Q.Can you please give us an overview of the range of products that will be on display in the forthcoming Indiawood 2012 Expo? Shall we get an opportunity to view some innovative products or technology?
 
We will be displaying the unique tubular boards and solid low-density boards for the internal filling of doors as well as the acoustical and fire cores coming from Sauerland Spanplatten of Germany. The normal filler cores are available in thickness range of 20mm upto 48.6mm, which can meet the demand for all types of doors globally. The technical cores for acoustical come in thickness of 13.6mm uptil 60mm and the fire cores in thickness of 42mm for 60 minute’s fire rated door. We are at Stall 3LLF604.
 
At 3LLB230 we will be showcasing the wide range of Particle Boards from Heveaboard Berhad of Malaysia. In less than 5 years Heveaboard has become the reliable partner to several leading furniture manufacturers and laminators. It can supply various low formaldehyde emission particleboards like E1, E0 and super E0 as well as CARB phase2 and also F**** as per Japanese specifications.
 
Q.In your opinion, what could be the challenges and opportunities offered by the Indian Market in the forthcoming year?
 
Slow change in mindset of the consumers at large is the biggest challenge in India. The over-dependence on site work and use of decades-old practice of using outdated resin technology is still in demand. This has crippled the growth of the industry.
